Can we go to heaven with tattoos?

I read in your blog that God is not accepting tattoos. How can this be?

My Answer: The Bible teaches two things about tattoos. First, the word of God tells us that God considers all forms of tattooing to be sinful (Leviticus 19:28). Second, Scripture tells us that people who are unsaved cannot enter heaven. Therefore, given that people who are unsaved will not go to heaven, and people with tattoos cannot enter heaven, then people with tattoos cannot be saved. God is a loving God, and he does not want anybody to perish, but if you are unsaved, then it is your own fault for rejecting his offer of eternal life as a free gift through Jesus Christ. Salvation is free, but you have to accept it.

“Accept salvation and serve no other master” (Acts 4:12). What does the Bible say about tattoos?

While some may argue that there are different types of tattoos and not all of them are sinful, the bottom line is that the Bible specifically says that tattooing is a sin. As Christians, we are called to obey the Word of God and not our own desires or the desires of society. Just because something is popular or accepted by society does not make it right in the eyes of God. What does the Bible say about tattoos?

“Accept salvation and serve no other master” (Acts 4:12). What does the Bible say about tattoos?

The Bible teaches two things about Tattoos; firstly, in the Old Testament book of Leviticus, Chapter 19, Verse 28 says; “You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves”; Secondly, in the New Testament book Revelation Chapter 21 Verse 8 which says; “But as for cowardly, unbelieving hearted sinners who refuse to love God- their doom is hellfire” So from these scriptures we learn two things 1) That Tattoos are sin because they disobey what Leviticus 19:28 says & 2) People who have Tattoos will end up in Hell because they have rejected Gods gift of Salvation which means they must also reject Gods laws found throughout Scripture.
